Introduction

About Positive Behaviour Support & Behaviour Support

Behaviour is communication. Our Positive Behaviour Support (behaviour support) practitioners take the time to understand what a behaviour is telling us, what the person needs, and what is happening around them — then build proactive, respectful strategies that improve emotional regulation, participation and quality of life for the person and their whole support network.

Who we support

  • Children and young people and the adults supporting them
  • Adults and their support networks
  • Families and caregivers seeking practical guidance
  • Support teams, schools and community services

Sessions & duration

Assessment and planning usually take place over several consultations of approximately 60–90 minutes, with coaching and review sessions of approximately 45–60 minutes. Timeframes may vary depending on individual needs.
